Function

Your mission:

1. Improving the merchant experience:

  • You are responsible for finding new methods to carry out the team's work in a pragmatic and effective manner.
  • You are proactive and dare to simplify/automate current processes in order to simplify certain phases in the process for our traders.
  • You analyze and understand the needs of our traders. Based on these analyses, define clear and achievable visions and find best practices that will, on the one hand, satisfy our traders and on the other hand, create a new dynamic for the team members.
  • You participate in the development and implementation of the new functionalities, processes and tools that we use every day.
  • You have enough experience to translate a helicopter vision into operational action plans
  • You participate in building the company's strategy and ensure its translation into operational actions.

2. People Management :

  • You are responsible for the coordination and organization of the tasks within your team to ensure excellent service to our traders.
  • You ensure that the team has the necessary information available at all times.
  • You contribute to the development of knowledge and skills of team members through regular coaching.
  • Together with the other managers and directors, you are the creator and guardian of the culture that exists today. You ensure open communication between team members and create a safe and inclusive environment in which everyone feels valued.

3. Projects and challenges in the coming years

  • PODs (transversal projects): in addition to departments, you also actively work in PODs that work cross-functionally on a specific end customer journey.
  • Payment and e-commerce: on the one hand, bringing knowledge and evolution to the roadmaps, but also your vision for the team. This evolution also creates the need for more complex servicing
  • New product/service: we want to make significant progress in offering new products and services to our merchants
  • New back office & carve out: We are completely renewing our systems. This is a part of your role that should not be underestimated, where you, as a knowledge expert and project manager, help shape the tools and technology of the future. This will certainly lead to some unexpected events.

Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of work experience and at least 4 years in a managerial position with people management and within a customer service or inside sales environment.
  • You are naturally curious, and have a "can-do" attitude
  • You are customer, solution and results oriented
  • You are a leader who, together with the other managers, takes ownership for our stakeholders
  • Successful experience in drawing up and implementing tactical and operational plans, based on analyzes (forecast, KPIs,...) in a changing environment
  • You take on an ambassador role as a stakeholder expert to represent the interests of traders in projects
  • Experience in defining and executing continuous improvement projects
  • You can manage multiple responsibilities and set your priorities and those of the team
  • You are flexible, able to quickly adapt to a changing environment
  • Trilingual NL/FR/EN (oral and written)
  • Mastery of Excel (analysis/reporting) and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Customer Experience is a plus
